Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,
As the school year comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect with gratitude, pride, and appreciation for all that we have accomplished together. It has truly been a year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful connections.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible teachers and support staff. Your dedication, creativity, and unwavering commitment to our students have made a lasting difference. Every lesson taught, every moment of encouragement, and every extra effort has helped shape a positive environment for our learners.
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have achieved this year. From academic success in the classroom to accomplishments in athletics, the arts, and leadership, our students continue to inspire us each and every day. We have seen them demonstrate perseverance, creativity, kindness, and resilience. Whether improving their reading skills, tackling challenging math problems, performing on stage, competing in sports, or supporting their peers, each success, big or small, has contributed to a vibrant and positive school culture.
Congratulations to all of our students for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to seeing what you will achieve next!
We are deeply grateful to our many community volunteers who generously gave their time and energy throughout the year. Whether supporting classroom activities, assisting at events, or contributing behind the scenes, your involvement strengthens our school community in countless ways.
To our families and supporters, thank you for showing up, cheering loudly, and celebrating our students at sporting events and school activities. Your presence creates a strong sense of unity and pride in everything we do.
This year was filled with meaningful and exciting events that showcased both school spirit and compassion. Our Terry Fox Run highlighted our students’ perseverance and commitment to honouring Terry Fox’s legacy while supporting cancer research. During Jump Rope for Heart, the energy, teamwork, and generosity on display were truly inspiring, as students promoted healthy, active living while making a difference.
These events are only possible because of the strong partnership between our school and community - thank you for your continued support.
A special thank you goes to our dedicated School Council representatives. Your advocacy, ideas, and ongoing support help us continuously improve and create meaningful opportunities for our students and families. We truly value your partnership.
As we head into the summer months, we hope everyone enjoys the beautiful weather, spends quality time with family and takes the opportunity to rest, relax, and recharge. This is a well-deserved break for all.
We eagerly look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting school year. Our team will be hard at work over the summer to ensure our building is ready to go for September 8.
Until then, we wish you a safe, happy, and restful summer.
Warmest regards,
Mr. Chris Chater and Mrs. Michelle Turner.
