Well Panther Families…. It’s JUNE!!!

This year has absolutely been flying by and it’s super hard to believe that the end of the school year is upon us. This time of year brings lots of extra activities in classrooms, final tasks and assignments, outdoor learning experiences and sunshine!! Please make sure your students are wearing hats and sunscreen and are bringing reusable water bottles in order to stay hydrated.

Mr. Chater and I would like to thank all of our amazing educators for their involvement with our students and our Panther community this year. This has been an incredibly busy one with sports, clubs, intramurals, concerts, professional development, talent shows, science and career fairs, and all of the other things. Our students are incredibly fortunate for the team that supports them every day.

That being said, all of those things could not be possible without the incredible support from our Panther families. Thank you for the encouragement, and effort to help make this year a great success.

On a personal note, this is my last June as a Panther. The lessons that I’ve learned, the connections I have made, and the memories that have been embedded, are ones that I will cherish as I move onto the position of Principal at Coldwater/Moonstone in September. I want to thank each and every one of you for allowing me to spend the last 3 years with you and your families. It’s been an absolute honour.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a safe and relaxing summer holiday - full of laughs, and moments with your friends and families.

One last time for me… Claws out Panthers!

All the best,
Mrs. Viherjoki

Dogs on School Property
The safety and well-being of students, staff and visitors is a top priority for all SCDSB locations. As outlined in the school's newsletter, to ensure a safety of our school community, the presence of dogs, except for service animals, is restricted on school property. This policy helps to minimize potential distractions and safety concerns, during our most hectic and busy times before and after the school bells.
